Heal Model Settings Window
Use
You can modify these settings for the best results on specific models. That is, you can dictate to what extent various components of the model are used in healing.

Meshes |
Used to establish mesh settings

|
Healing Tolerances |
Used to establish healing threshold settings. These values are displayed in percent and in units. |
|
Vertices |
Determines the maximum distance allowed between two vertices. Values under this threshold will result in the two vertices being joined. The percentage values are expressed as a percentage of the size of the object’s bounding box diagonal. The unit values are expressed as unit size based on those used by the model. |
|
Edges |
Determines the maximum distance allowed between a vertex and edge. If the distance is less than the threshold value then the vertex is collapsed into the edge. The percentage values are expressed as a percentage of the size of the object’s bounding box diagonal. The unit values are expressed as unit size based on those used by the model. |
