File Menu
Use
The File menu is used to manage 2D and 3D files. The available options differ depending on the current file type, whether the file is animated, and on the current of Explorer bar view.
Features
The following options are available from the menu:

New |
Opens a new empty scene |

Open |
Used to open supported files |
|
Open Recent |
Shows recently opened files |

Merge File |
Used to merge files into the current scene |

Save As |
Used to establish save settings for the selected file type (format). The available options differ depending on the type of file that you are saving; whether the current file is a 2D image or a 3D model. For example, if you save a file in the .jpg format, the Image Quality option becomes available. |

Export |
Used to save a file in the native format (.rh or .vds) |

Publish |
Used to save a file in formats other then .rh and .vds |

Save Frames |
Used to generate sequences of 3D files with separate files for each animation frame. The Save As window is displayed from where animation options can be set. |

Send To |
Sends the scene to further applications |

Batch Operations |
Used to convert, or render and convert all files in the File list (excluding CAD files). Note that for 3D files, conversion can be performed on a maximum of 25 files. |

Printer Setup |
Used to set up your page layout |
|
|
Prints the current image on the selected printer |
|
Exit |
Quits the program. If files are being transferred when you close the application, the transfer is cancelled. |
