Joining Equal Points

Use

This tool is used to reduce polygons by joining all the points that have equal (coincident) x,y,z coordinates. This smooths the lines and reduces the number of polygons resulting in a smaller file.

To join equal points, you must first specify the distance tolerance, as a percentage of the scene bounding box diagonal, to join all points that are found within that distance of each other. For example, if the tolerance value is 3, all points that are 3 scene units and less from each other are joined.

You can also modify the settings for joining equal points.
