Walk Mode Tool

Use

You use this tool to move the camera through the 3D scene as if you are walking on the plane of the ground. Specifically, the Walk Mode tool fixes the camera to a particular height, and then allows you to move the camera around. The distance off the ground can be controlled in the Preferences window, or by pressing SHIFT+left-click+drag on your keyboard.

You can also record your walk mode movements, by using the Edit Keyframes tool. A walk path sequence is created.
