Use

You can use the Advanced window to control more advanced global settings relating to steps

Fields

Functional Description

Fly- to Animation Duration

The length of time it takes to generate the selected step in ms.

Start Pause Duration

The delay in ms. before playing the selected step.

End Pause Duration

The delay in ms. after playing the selected step.

Show Subtitles

Determines if and when the step subtitles display

  • No: Subtitles do not display

  • Start Pause: Subtitles will display during the pause at the start of the step

  • Start Pause and Animation: Subtitles will display during the pause at the start of the step, and also during the step animation

  • Whole Step: Subtitles display for the duration of the step

  • Fly to plus Whole Step: Subtitles display for the duration of the step, and the “fly- to period” between steps

Keep Visible

Ensures that the subtitle remains visible until you click on the next step

Camera Navigation Mode

Selects the navigation mode used by the step

  • No change: The current navigation mode is used

  • Orbit: The camera moves around a point of rotation (focal point) to orbit the scene

  • Walk: The camera moves through the scene as if walking on the plane of the ground

  • Turntable: The camera moves around a point of rotation but remains upright

  • Zoom: The camera is in zoom mode

  • Pan: The camera can only be panned left to right and up and down

  • Fly: The camera moves through the scene as if flying

Background Top

Selects the background gradient color to display at the top of the step in the viewport window

Background Bottom

Selects the background gradient color to display at the bottom of the step in the viewport window

Viewers Colors

Restores the default background color

Opening the Advanced Window

Choose Options on the toolbar in the Steps and Procedures panel, and then choose the properties for advanced settings.
