Render Menu
Use
You can use this menu to render the scene to a saved file, to the viewport, or a separate window. You can render either a series of still images or video clip. You can also modify the renderer properties.
This functionality can also be accessed using the Raster Illustration tool.
Features
The following options are available from the menu:

Functional Description |

Render to File. |
Opens the Render To window, renders the current scene in a 2D format, and saves the file to the location of your choice (see Render To Window) |

Auto Fly-Around |
Saves animated files as either a series of still images or as a video clip. For example, as an AVI file or a number of JPG files. (see Render Auto Fly-Around Window). |

DirectX 11 |
Renders the scene using the DirectX 11 renderer (the best quality scene rendering), to the active viewport or a separate window, depending on your selection in the Output tab page |

HDR Raytracer |
Renders the scene using the HDR Raytracer renderer, to the active viewport or a separate window, depending on your selection in the Output tab page |

Raytracer |
Renders the scene using the Raytracer renderer, to the active viewport or a separate window, depending on your selection in the Output tab page |

Software Z-Buffer |
Renders the scene using the Software Z-buffer renderer (an average quality render), to the active viewport or a separate window, depending on your selection in the Output tab page |

Renderer Properties |
Opens the Properties window and is used to modify the currently selected renderer settings (see Render Properties Window) |
