Basic Tab Page

Use

The Basic tab is used to adjust the appearance of the material including the ambient light, opacity across all channels, and shading. Note that “alpha” for a specific channel (ambient, diffuse, specular) is controlled by using an RGBA map (texture map, bitmap) for that channel in the Maps tab. The options in the Basic tab vary, depending on the type of material you select. The different types of materials are described further in this section.
