Navigating Through a Process in Business Process Management
Use
Business Process Management (BPM) enables representation of the process flow so that navigation through a process is simple and straightforward. You can check which tasks are completed ( Predecessors ), active, and upcoming ( Successors ), as well as details for each task. Quick navigation is enhanced through fixed and customized bookmarks which act as "anchors" in the process. Furthermore, the Visit History enables you to easily navigate to each history step you select.
Using process visualization, you can:
-
Acquire information about the process and process flow
-
Acquire details and the status of each step in the process
-
Add any step as a Bookmark
-
Easily navigate via Bookmarks or visited steps in the Visit History
-
Have a list of all Predecessors and Successors steps of the current step
-
Navigate to sub-processes and back to the parent process
-
Use access keys (keyboard shortcuts)
You can launch the process visualization from a process context (process list) and from a task context (task execution user interface).
