Paged Attribute

With the table property Paged Attribute the loading behavior of tables changes and you can load data page by page.

The Paged Attribute property is active in a table so that in the case of a query, you do not have to load all of the data but only the data that is in the area in which you are searching. The new partitions in a table are handled according to the loading behavior of the partitions currently in this table. When partitions are first created, the report activates the attribute for the tables automatically.

You use migration report RDAAG_PARTITIONING_MIGRATION to change the loading behavior of certain conditions retroactively. To use this attribute to load data page by page (also for previously partitioned tables), run the migration report as described in SAP Note 1996342 Information published on SAP site. The report works as follows:

If you have already partitioned tables in a partitioning object, the attribute is not yet activated for these tables. The migration report is available if you need to do this. It automatically activates the attribute for the tables in transaction DAGPTM.
