Activating a Mobile Entity Collection

Context

You use this procedure to activate the MEC, which allows the system to perform consistency checks with DOE runtime, back-end search, and business application programming interface (BAPI) wrappers. When you activate the MEC, the system generates runtime transformations, tables, and Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) files.

Procedure

  1. In the MEC Modeler , choose Start of the navigation pathMobile Entity Next navigation step ActivateEnd of the navigation path.
  2. If you want to check whether the MEC has been activated successfully, choose the MEC Overview tab. The following legends indicates the status of the MEC activation:

    • Red - MEC activated with errors

    • Yellow - MEC activated with warnings

    • Green - MEC activated successfully
