Clearing the Application Model

Use

You use transaction SDOE_CLEANUP to delete the runtime data of a particular software component version.

Follow the steps below to run transaction SDOE_CLEANUP:

Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Application Server.
Choose transaction SDOE_CLEANUP.
Select the SWCV for which you need to delete the runtime data.
Select the Reset R&R Only checkbox to deactivate all the rules of the data object and delete the distribution data.

Note

The CDS data remains intact if you select the checkbox.

If you deselect the checkbox, the system also deletes the CDS data along with the distribution data and data object rules.
Select the Asynchronous Execution checkbox if you need to run the transaction in the background. You can proceed with your tasks while the transaction is running.

If you deselect this checkbox, the system executes the transaction in the foreground and you cannot proceed with other tasks until the transaction is complete.
