Configuring the Client

Use

You use this procedure to configure a set of properties for the mobile client.

Prerequisites

You have created a mobile UI component and a mobile application.

Procedure

1. Set Application Properties

  1. Navigate to the Handhelds UI Explorer , and expand the Mobile UI Component node.

  2. Under Start of the navigation pathWeb Dynpro Next navigation step ApplicationsEnd of the navigation path, double-click the mobile application.

  3. Navigate to the Application Properties tab page.

  4. Choose New .

  5. Select User defined .

  6. Enter the Name and Value of the property.

2. Set Configuration Properties

  1. Create a configuration.properties file.

  2. Add the property and corresponding value in the file.

  3. Place the file in the MI\Settings folder of the client.
