Use
Various elements of the interface as well as components of the ABAP Development Workbench can be documented directly in the system. This documentation can be accessed with the F1 key or by using the special menu options or function keys within a specific application. This facilitates working with the application and reduces the need to consult information on external media (such as manuals). The use of objects such as data elements or error messages is clearly described, thus enabling a better overview in the development system.
This documentation is managed in a separate database and can be edited with a special maintenance transaction. Activated documents are released for translation.
The document texts are displayed in your logon language.
In addition to the online documentation for objects, online documentation for applications is also available in the form of online books that are created as hypertext ( 
Tools 
Hypertext Structures
or Documents).
The following documentation explains how you can document objects in the SAP system. First the fundamental concepts are introduced and then handling the documentation maintenance transaction is described.
