Transporting Documentation

Procedure

Documents are either objects in their own right (general texts, online manuals, release notes) or object components (all other types of element).

Elements that exist as independent objects are always transported directly. Elements existing as object components can be transported either on their own as object components or together with the main object.

A document cannot be transported until it has active version status. Raw versions are rejected by the transport system.
