Maintaining Short Texts

Procedure

The documentation maintenance transaction is primarily used for creating and editing long texts that describe system objects. The short texts are created by the developer in the maintenance transaction when creating the object. You can edit short texts of objects that you are working on in the documentation maintenance transaction:

    by selecting the function Start of the navigation pathGoto Next navigation step Maintain Short TextEnd of the navigation path

  • From the worklist

    by double-clicking on the short text of the respective object
