Step 1: Release the query as an easy query.
  • Define or select the required analytic query in Query Designer with the standard view that you want to make available.
  • In the Advanced tag page of the query properties under Release for External Access, select By Easy Query.
  • Save the query.
Step 1: Release the query as a BW 0Data query.
  • Define or select the required analytic query in Query Designer with the standard view that you want to make available.
  • In the Advanced tag page of the query properties under Release for External Access, select By 0Data.
  • Save the query.
Step 2 (optional):‎ Check the query.

Step 2: Release the OData service.

Release: To do this, use the maintenance service (transaction (/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE).

Step 3: Create and release the easy query as a gateway service.
Create:
  • GW 2.0 SP04 trx. /IWBEP/ANA_SRV_GEN
  • GW 2.0 >=SP05 trx. /IWBEP/ANA_SRV_GEN or SEGW

Release: To do this, use the maintenance service (transaction (/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE).
