Staging BAPIs

Use

BW provides open interfaces or staging BAPIs, to enable the extraction of data and metadata from non-SAP sources at application level.

Interface Properties:

  • Write interface

  • Programming language is ABAP

  • Mass data is not supported.

  • Execution in background/dialog

  • Programming knowledge is not required

  • A DataSource/InfoProvider is required as a prerequisite

The staging BAPIs are currently supported for 3.x DataSources.
