Recruitment Instruments (Report RPAPL008)

Use

You can use this report to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment instruments.

Features

The system can determine the effectiveness of recruitment instruments in the following ways:

  • Evaluation of an individual recruitment instrument (for example, a particular daily newspaper)

  • Evaluation of recruitment instruments with one medium (for example, initiatives such as recruitment workshops, recruitment fairs, and graduate fairs, which are grouped into the Trade fairs medium).

You can perform various interactive functions in the output screen. For example, you can go directly to Applicant Statistics (Report RPAPL005) or Advertisements (Report RPAPL006) .

To access the report from the Recruitment application, choose from the SAP Easy Access menu: Start of the navigation path Human Resources Next navigation step Recruitment Next navigation step Advertising Next navigation step Recruitment instrum. Next navigation step Evaluate. End of the navigation path

You can also access this report from one of the Information Systems (for example, the Recruitment information system or the Human Resources information system) by choosing Recruitment instruments .

In both cases, the report’s full range of features is available.

Selection

The selection screen contains the fields Recruitment instrument and Medium.

Output

The output list contains the following columns:

  • Instrument

  • Number of adverts

  • Number of applications

  • Total cost

  • Cost per application

Activities

If you run the report from the application, you can perform additional functions for individual applicants. For details on the procedure, see Perform Interactive Functions in Recruitment Reports .

Example

You would like to know which of the recruitment instruments used by your company have resulted in the most applications. The Recruitment Instruments report enables you to display the number of applications per recruitment instrument.
