Preparing to Hire an ApplicantThis process comprises the following sub-processes:
You carry out an applicant action that changes the applicant’s overall status.
You store the interview date in the system.
Optionally, you can carry out different administrative steps.
You can, for example, record in the system that the applicant has accepted the contract.
You also have the option of processing the following infotypes in

The Processing Employment Contract step has been completed. An applicant has been offered a contract. The applicant has accepted the offer and has notified the company that he or she will enter into a contract.
Run applicant action
Prepare for hiring.
Once you have carried out this applicant action, the system changes the applicant’s overall status to
To be hired
and creates the applicant activities
Transfer data
and
Hiring date
. A dialog box containing
Hiring date
appears.
Store the hiring date in the system. The date that you enter in the
Hiring date
field will be transferred to the
Organizational Assignment
infotype (0001) in
Personnel Administration
.
Optionally, you can create the applicant activities
Approve hiring
and
Contr. returned
, thereby documenting the administrative steps in the system.
You can create the infotypes mentioned in
Recruitment.
Note
All entries you make in infotype records within
Recruitment
are transferred as default values in the
Transfer of Applicant Data to Personnel Administration
.
If you want the system to create an employment contract for an applicant, you must have created the infotypes mentioned with the corresponding data so that the system can use this data when creating the contract.
