Displaying Commodity Codes and Import Code Numbers

Use

This function displays descriptions of commodity codes and import code numbers that meet your selection criteria.

Prerequisites

The codes must be loaded into the system before you can search for them. For more about loading codes, see Loading of Commodity Codes and Import Code Numbers

The resulting list of codes is grouped by chapter and section. To display the chapter and section titles in the list, maintain the following tables in Customizing for Start of the navigation path Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Foreign Trade End of the navigation path :

  • Start of the navigation path Basic Data for Foreign Trade Next navigation step Sections with regard to customs law End of the navigation path

  • Start of the navigation path Basic Data for Foreign Trade Next navigation step Assign chapters to a section End of the navigation path

Activities

To display commodity codes or import code numbers, choose Description/Information in the Customs objects section of the Data Service Cockpit . On the next screen, choose to the right of the appropriate field in the Information section.
