Notify Users for Multiple Jobs

From the list of data mapping jobs, you can select multiple jobs for which you want to add users to be notified about the latest job run status. These notifications can be sent by email and displayed in the SAP Fiori Launchpad.

Context

You can activate these notifications for scheduled jobs, jobs run manually (including test run), and jobs run with the Group Journal Entries – Import API.

Procedure

  1. From the list of data mapping jobs, select the jobs for which you want to add users to be notified about the latest job run status.
  2. Choose Notify Users.
  3. Choose Add.
  4. In the User to be Notified section, select the users to be notified.
  5. Select the status type for which you want the users to receive a notification:

    • Error: a notification is sent if the job run has stopped.

    • Warning: a notification is sent if the job run has a warning.

    • Success: a notification is sent if the job run is successful.

  6. Save the job.
    The selected users receive an invitation to turn on notifications. This invitation is displayed as a banner in the Run Data Mapping app and is also sent by email.
