Copy a Data Mapping Definition

You can copy definitions in the Define Data Mapping app.

Context

This allows you to duplicate an entire mapping structure (including parent and child definitions) and modify it as needed without recreating it manually.

Procedure

From the Data Mapping Definitions page, select the definition you want to copy (only one definition can be copied at a time).
Choose the Copy button from the toolbar at the top right-hand corner.
Enter a new name for the copied definition.
The copied definition is added to the top of the list.
Note
- The copied definition retains the same settings and mapping file as the original, which you can then edit as needed.
- When copying a parent definition, all its child definitions are automatically copied as well.
- When copying a child definition, the copy is automatically placed under the same parent definition.
