Group Reporting Logic

SAP Group Reporting Data Collection applies the group reporting logic from SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

This reporting logic supports both legal and management consolidation while providing high flexibility in re-organizations. For more information, see Reporting Logic.

The SAP Group Reporting Data Collection apps only work with SAP S/4HANA Cloud where the feature entity set is provided or where the group reporting logic is active. If the entity set is not provided or the logic is not active, you receive a warning message.

Once the entity set is provided or the logic is active, you must use fiscal years that apply the group reporting logic. For example, in the Enter Package Data app, you can't select a form that contains fiscal years that don't apply the group reporting logic. If you do, you receive a message that informs you of valid fiscal years, and you can't choose Go for the global parameters until you select valid fiscal years.
