Enter Data for Multiple Group Currencies

Where a form has been defined with different types of versions using the Manage Forms app, you can enter data for multiple group currencies in a standard version, an extension version, and a group currency (GC) extension version.

Where the local currency (LC) value is entered in the standard version the LC is automatically displayed for the extension version and the GC extension version. The LC is read only in the extension version and the GC extension version.

If you update the GC in the standard version, the GC of the extension version is automatically recalculated with the new GC value of the standard version plus the previous delta between the two versions (standard and extension versions).

When currencies are the same in the GC and the LC (for example, the GC and the LC are both EUR) but the values are different, the values are updated as follows:

For the standard version and the extension version, the last updated value is copied to the other.
For the GC extension version, the LC amount is not copied to the GC in the form. This is done by the Currency Translation task. For more information on currency translation, see Multiple Group Currencies.
