Write Document Types for SAP Group Reporting Data Collection

The table below describes the different writable document types used across SAP Group Reporting Data Collection apps.

These document types are part of the SAP content, but others can be created and used as well.

For Data Mapping, the document types below are default document types provided by the SAP content, but you can choose to use any other document type, amongst the Business Application E types.

Data Entry

The predefined document types, 03, 04, and 0A, shown in the table above, can be used for data entry in forms. In addition, you can create other document types and, as long at they include business application A and posting level 00 or 0C, these too can be used for data entry in forms.

If the predefined document types shown in the table above aren’t in use, you must create at least one document type that includes business application A and posting level 00 or 0C.

Data Mapping

For data mapping, if the predefined document types shown in the table above aren’t in use, you can create these document types. You must use the same ID’s, posting levels, and business applications. For example, if you want to create a document type to import data from a file, then use document type ID 0C, posting level 00, and business application E.

Posting Levels

A posting level enables you to distinguish posting entry types and select data accordingly. The following posting levels are used by SAP Group Reporting Data Collection apps:
  • 00: Reported data of individual consolidation units

  • 0C: Adjustments to universal journal
