Open a Form from Within a Package

From within a package, you can open forms, consult the data in these forms, and enter data.

Context

The procedure shown below outlines how to open a form from within a package.

Procedure

Launch the Enter Package Data app from the SAP Fiori launchpad.
To display a list of packages, enter filters in the filter bar.
Consolidation version and fiscal year are mandatory filters. If you don’t enter at least one consolidation version and one fiscal year, the system doesn't display any packages. To further refine the list of displayed packages, you can enter additional filters, such as period.
Choose the package where you want to consult and enter data.
Open a folder, for example, S0-I30 - Profit and Loss.
Select a form, for example, S0I3100 - Profit and Loss.

The context bar is updated with the dimensions related to the selected form. Depending on the design of the form, dimension values are in read-only or can be edited.
In the context bar, change dimension values as necessary. The form will run automatically.

Note

The option Run at opening is selected by default. To run a form manually, deselect this option under General Information in the Manage Forms app.
Consult and enter data.

You can display guidelines on how to use the form, freeze and unfreeze panels, copy and paste from within the form, copy and paste from and to Microsoft Excel, find a string, go to other forms within the same package, and display information for a cell. Note

If the form is designed with read-only cells where data entry isn't allowed, you can choose whether or not you want to display these cells as read only. Even if you don't display a cell as read only and you enter an amount in a cell where data entry isn’t allowed, when you save the form, the amount entered is not saved and the cell is displayed with a red border.
