Enter Package Data

With this app, you can consult, correct, and complete group reporting data in forms.

This app is used in conjunction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Data retrieved in forms can come from different sources as outlined in the following examples:

  • If the data for the consolidation unit is in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, once the journal entry data is released from the Universal Journal Entry Line Items (ACDOCA) table, you can consult the group reporting data from the Consolidation Journal Entries (ACDOCU) table in the forms.

  • If you upload data from another system, either using file upload or data mapping, once the data is uploaded, you can consult the data in the forms.

You can then correct and complete your data in forms. For example, you can split transaction types, make adjustments (such as IFRS or group adjustments), add appendices data, enter HR data, add comments, and enter qualitative data.

Key Features

You can use this app to:

  • Display uploaded or released data in a form, make changes, and enter additional data.

  • Open a form in the current tab, or several forms in different tabs or windows.

  • Run a form with the dimension values entered in the context bar.

  • Display the guidelines for information on how to enter data in the form.

  • Consult the local currency of the consolidation unit for which data are displayed and entered, in the form toolbar.

  • Enter data in a spreadsheet-like form (with features such as copy and paste from or to Microsoft Excel, freeze panels, and search data and text). Data includes the following:

    • Amounts in local currency, transaction currency, and group currency

    • Quantities

    • Answers to a question

  • Display information about the data displayed in a cell including, for example, the format, the dimension values selected from the Consolidation Journal Entries (ACDOCU) table, and if a cell is read only, the reason why.

  • Enter the full amount in a cell, whether or not the amount displayed is the aggregation of document types.
