Manage Forms

With this app, you can create and edit forms to meet your specific needs, for example, where you have specific financial statement (FS) items, subitems, or other dimensions that are not covered in the predefined forms. In addition, you can organize forms in folders.

You can use this app to work with packages, folders, and forms as outlined in the table below:

Form editor

Define custom forms

You can create new forms or copy predefined forms to the custom folder and use them as templates to create enhanced forms.

Choose dimensions

You can choose the dimensions you want to display. You can drag and drop dimensions to the filters, rows, and columns and choose the order in which the dimensions appear.

Define values for each dimension using filter mode

Aggregate values

You can choose to itemize the list of values, add a total before or after the values, or sum up the values.

Enter formulas

You can enter formulas in cells, apart from cells containing dimension names, for example, row titles. You can use these formulas to run calculations, calculate amounts instead of entering them manually, and customize titles.

Make cells read only

You can make individual cells read only. The read-only cells are displayed with a gray background at runtime.

You can also make the cells in an entire block read only or make the form a read-only form.

Format cells, rows, and columns

You can format the size of rows and columns, hide rows and columns, and define additional formatting for individual cells to determine how they display in the form at runtime.

Create questions in rows or columns

You can add questions to your form in either rows or columns.

Provide guidelines

You can provide guidelines that explain how to use the form, including, for example, links and screenshots. These guidelines are displayed in the Enter Package Data app to provide guidance when entering data in the form.
