Configuration Requirements

• Enable Allow Rehire with Old Employment Switch on the Onboarding General Settings page.

• Configure a check using the Hire/Rehire Configuration generic object in Manage Data to see if an employee exists in the system already. For more information, refer to the Related Information section.

• Create a responsible group for rehire coordinators and configure a business rule to automatically assign them to the respective tasks.

Role-Based Permission Prerequisites

You have the Administrator  Manage Hires  Rehire Inactive Employee permission.

As a rehire coordinator, you must have the following permissions:

• All the permissions under User  Employee Data  HR Information permission.

• User  Employee Data  Employment Details permission.

• The required permissions under User  Employee Central Effective Dated Entities  HR Information permission.

The Onboarding General Settings page with the Allow Rehire with Old Employment switch.

After you've enabled the required configurations, the Profile Match Verification page displays possible profile matches with the required details to rehire with old employment, rehire with new employment, or proceed as a new hire.

The Data Review for Rehire page

In the previous version, the title of the Profile Match Verification page was Rehire Verification.
