User ID-Based HRIS Sync

You can now run a full sync for selected employees using the HRIS Sync job.

You specify a date from when data is to be synced when running an incremental or full HRIS Sync. The user ID-based HRIS Sync syncs all data from the beginning of the employee's lifecycle at the company. You cannot specify date from when the sync is to be run.

When encountering issues with HRIS Sync, you often corrected the problem by running HRIS Sync job on all employees. Now, you’re able to run the HRIS Sync job based on single or multiple user IDs.

Configuration Requirements

The job is set up in Provisioning. You prepare a file with user IDs to be synced. This file is then uploaded to the FTP server. We recommend that you have a recurring user ID-based job configured for your instance. This brings the job under your control since you can update the file with the user IDs when you need to sync user data. The user IDs are then picked up by the HRIS Sync job on the schedule set up in the job.
