Setting the Collaboration Status of an Operation

As the owner of a work order, view the responses from your business partners to a shared operation. As a business partner, set the collaboration status of an operation that is shared with you.

Prerequisites

To view the collaboration status set by your business partners, you must be the owner of the work order.

To set the collaboration status of an operation, the work order must be shared with you.

Context

As the owner of a shared work order, collaboration status allows you to collectively view the responses from the business partners. Collaboration Status can be viewed in the work order and operations list page, Operations section of the work order object page and the operation object page. The following collaboration statuses are available:
Accepted
Set by the business partners, typically the service provider.
Rejected
Set by the business partners, typically the service provider.
Partially Completed
Derived status based on the status of confirmations associated with the operation. An operation is set to partially completed when it has confirmations but they are are set to final.
Finally Completed
Derived status based on the status of confirmations associated with the operation. An operation is set to partially completed when it has confirmations but they are are set to final.

There can be more than 1 collaboration status for an operation when the work order is shared with more than 1 business partner. Clicking on the collaboration status link opens a popup with details of all the collaboration statuses received.

As a partner, you can view and set the collaboration status for operations of a work order that is shared with you. You can choose to accept or reject the operation and provide the reason for the status. You can change the collaboration status after you have set it.

Procedure

  1. Open the Work Orders application.
  2. Select and open the shared Work Order.
  3. Navigate to the Operations section.
  4. Open the operation for which you want to set the collaboration status.
  5. Click Accept or Reject.
  6. Provide a reason for the status and click OK.
