Creating a Change Status with Date Validity
Use
You use this function if you create an object in the
Engineering Workbench
and, to do this, use a
change number , which has
date validity .
Note
This function is only of relevance, if your organization uses the
Engineering Change Management
(LO-ECH) component and uses change master records with date validity, to edit bills of material and routings for example.

Features
When you create an object with a change number that has date validity, you generate a first change status. Its validity period starts on the valid-from date in the change number's change master record and finishes on December 31, 9999.
