User Roles for Adapter and Module Development

For adapter and module development, you must assign your development user or development group the following roles in AS Java (start page http://localhost:5<sid>00 → User Management):

• SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE
• SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USE
• SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER
• SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR_J2EE
• SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_J2EE
• SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE
• SAP_XI_DISPLAY_USER_J2EE
• SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE
• SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER
• XiMdt.ExtendedMonitor
• XiMdt.StandardMonitor
• XiMdt.StandardViewer

Local Development System

• If you are using a local development system, create the new role SAP_ALL and assign all actions to this role.
• Then, assign SAP_ALL to your development user or development group.
