Customizing the Audit Information System Cockpit

Use the customization options of the audit information system cockpit to set a default audit structure, determine the maximum line length for log entries, and configure the maximum number of log entries to display per step.

Context

The customization options offer you an opportunity to ease the display of auditing information on your system.

You can control the following aspects of the display:

  • The default audit structure

  • The maximum line length for log entries

  • Number of log entries per check step

Procedure

  1. Start Audit Information System Workplace (transaction SAIS).
  2. Choose Audit Environment Administration Administration.
  3. Choose Configure Audit Cockpit and choose Execute Object (Execute).
  4. Enter data as required.
  5. Save your entries.
