Creating Receiver Ports on the Sender System for Processing Java IDocs

Procedure

  1. To configure a port on the sender system, start transaction /nwe21 .

    The Ports in IDoc Processing application opens.

  2. On the available ports type tree, choose Transactional RFC .
  3. Choose the New button.

    An application window on which you can create the port opens.

    • To generate a random unique name of the port, choose Generate port name option.

    • To manually enter a unique name of the port, choose own port name option, and then enter the name of the port.

  4. Confirm your selection.
  5. On the configuration step of the wizard, choose IDoc record types SAP Release 4.x version of the port. Java IDoc adapter does not support processing on SAP systems prior to release 4.0.
  6. Enter an RFC destination to the port. Choose the value help button and then choose the destination which you created.

  7. Save your settings.
