Filtering connection types in the connection creation wizard

To assist you in finding the suitable connection type for creating a connection, you can now apply filters in the first step of the connection wizard. There are filters available for the features a connection type supports (remote tables, data flows), for the categories the corresponding source belongs to (on-premise, cloud), and for the kind of source that you would like to connect to (SAP, non-SAP, partner tool).

Views with unions can have associations.

On the Data Builder landing page, you can now experience improved sorting and filtering in the column named Type. You can sort this column ascending and descending and search inside the column even in localized labels.

SQL IMPORT Option

You can now import external data from an Amazon S3 bucket or Azure storage into an existing open SQL schema (a database user with the ingest privilege).

Automated Predictive Library (APL) and Predictive Analysis Library (PAL)

You can now use SAP HANA Cloud embedded machine learning functions. After opening a ticket to enable this function, a new option becomes available on the user interface in your database user dialogue.
