Creating, Renaming, and Deleting Nodes
Use
You can add the following types of nodes:

Form nodes for storing forms
-
Structure nodes for creating new tree parts
-
Reference nodes for adding existing trees for reference purposes
-
Nodes for unclassified forms
Procedure
Creating Nodes

On the Form Painter screen ( . The SAPscript Form Tree (Change Mode) screen appears.

Select the position in the tree where you want to add a new node.

If you want to add the node at the top of the tree, select the tree name and choose . The Valid Node Types screen appears.

If you want to add a new node under an existing node, select the node and choose . The Valid Node Types screen appears.

Select the desired node type and choose Continue. The Specify Node Name dialog box is displayed. If you want to create several nodes at the same time, choose Several Nodes.

Enter the new node name(s) and choose Continue.
Renaming Nodes

Select the node you want to rename and choose . The Change Nodes dialog box appears.

Change the node name in the Title field and choose Copy.
Deleting Nodes

Select the node and choose .
Creating Reference Nodes

Choose in the SAP menu.

Select the position in the tree where you want to add a new node.

If you want to add the node at the top of the tree, select the tree name and choose . The Valid Node Types screen appears.

If you want to add a new node under an existing node, select the node and choose . The Valid Node Types screen appears.

Choose Reference Node and then Continue. The Reference to a Structure dialog box is displayed.

If you want to add a node that exists locally in the system, choose Find Structure. The Find Structure dialog box appears.

Enter the search criteria that you require and choose Execute.

In the hit list, double-click on the structure you want and choose Copy.

If you want to add a node that was created in another system, choose Remote Search for Structure. The Enter Connection dialog box is displayed.

Select a system ID and choose Choose. Log on to the system and proceed as described in steps 6 to 8.
