Data Auditing
This function tracks changes to transactional data at the model level, such as when and by whom records were changed within a model.
Administrators control whether data auditing results are displayed or not.
For each model within an environment, you select a category and one or more of the following tasks to audit:
-
EPM Plug-in
-
Data Manager Import
-
Data Manager Clear
-
Script Logic Execution
-
Worksheet
-
Journal Input
-
Business Rules Execution
-
Ownership
-
FIM Import
To display data auditing, go to Administration and under the Audit section, choose Data Changes. Select a model, and change its status to On.
Once a data change is recorded, you can run a report that shows that change based on specified criteria (see Reporting on Data Changes).
You can also set up Data Manager packages to archive data audit information. See the SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for Microsoft Office application help available on the SAP Help Portal.
