User Consent

SAP applications ask for consent of the data subject before collecting any personal data. In some cases, the data subject might also be the user. The Social Media Integration for China provides functionality that allows data subjects to give and withdraw consent to collect and process their personal data. SAP assumes that the user, for example, an SAP customer collecting data, has consent from its data subject (a natural person such as a customer, contact, or account) to collect or transfer data to the solution.

In the Social Media Integration for China, you enter or upload the company's data privacy consent statement in Maintain Company Settings  Company Settings  WeChat Integrations  Data Privacy Consent Statement   to collect user consent. Mobile users need to accept the data privacy consent statement in order to log into the service.

If you update the data privacy content statement, the candidates will see the updated statement and need to accept the statement again.
