Features

This iView displays all technical objects (functional locations and equipment) and materials that can be edited.

For example, the following functions are possible:

  • Display of detailed data on the technical objects, such as classification, work center, maintenance planner group, location, serial number, partner data

  • Dismantling, installation, or exchange of pieces of equipment

  • Display of documents for the object (see Document Integration ) and creation of document attachments for technical objects (generic object service)

  • Directly call maintenance or service notifications and maintenance or service orders that were created for pieces of equipment or functional locations

  • Creation of notifications and orders for a selected object (A selection is provided in the notification types and order types defined in Customizing)

  • Creation of measurement documents for a selected object

  • Display of the next maintenance date

  • Display of material availability for a material at plant level

  • Calling up after-event recordings

  • Generation and print (as required) of the object history for the technical object in PDF format

  • In Customizing, you have specified a default plant so that the availability of materials can be displayed and the bill of materials can be exploded. Enter DIA_MT_PLANT as the personalization dialog.

  • In Customizing, you have set the notification type that is to be used when you create a notification from the technical structure view. Enter DIA_MT_NOTIFICATION as the personalization dialog.

  • In Customizing, you have set the default values order type, plant, and business area for creating orders, which are to be used when you create an order from the technical structure view. Enter DIA_MT_ORDER_STRUCTURE as the personalization dialog.

Define Display Variant on Back End

For the technical structure view, you can define display variants in the ERP system. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Plant Maintenance Next navigation step Management of Technical Objects Next navigation step Functional Location Next navigation step Structural Display. Note Note

In the settings, only the functional location and the date are relevant and are transferred to the portal for the technical structure view.

If you assign U_<USERNAME> as the name of the display variant, the variant is displayed in the portal as your default variant.

Set Up Structure Display Directly in Portal

You can also influence the data displayed in the structure directly in the portal, but you cannot save these settings.

To do this, choose Selection Criteria in the technical structure view and enter a functional location or a date for selection.
