Technical Description and Configuration Information

Purpose

This section contains information about how to install the Business Package for Maintenance Planner.

Prerequisites

  • For more information about system prerequisites, see Business Package for Maintenance Planner .

  • You have imported the Business Package for Common Parts. For more information about the business package, see Business Package for Common Parts .

  • You have assigned the role from the Business Package for Common Parts to your user.

  • You have set up the system alias SAP_ECC_Manufacturing in the portal.

  • To enable you to call SAP transactions from the portal, you have installed an Internet Transaction Server (ITS) for the connected ERP system.

  • For security reasons, some of the services delivered by SAP are not active. Activate any services that are relevant for your area. The names of the services are the same as the names of the Web Dynpro applications.
