Give Notice on Expired Insurance Policies

Use

Using this report you can give notice on insurance contracts, which are assigned to a loan and for which the contract end date has passed, as part of the end-of-day processing. The system creates a list of all relevant contracts.

You can use this report only for loans that are based on the product category Installment Loans (360).

Integration

To give notice on an insurance contract the system calls the linked insurance administration system, changes the contract status, and specifies the date of the change of status.

To synchronize the data in Loans Management and the linked insurance administration system, you must execute the report Compare Payment Plans for Insurance Policies.

Prerequisites

In Customizing for Loans Management, you have specified the system that manages the master data for insurance contracts in the IMG activity Determine System Settings for Insurance Handler.
You have specified the date for automatic notice given for the insurance policy in the insurance policy master data.

Scope of Functions

Selection

You enter the time period in which the contract end date of the insurance contracts should lie. You can additionally restrict the selection using the insurance policy number. If you want to first simulate notice given, set the simulation indicator.You can also give notice on inactive insurance policies.

Output

The system displays the list of insurance contracts for which notice has been given.

Activities

In the SAP Easy Access Menu chose Accounting Bank Applications Loans Management Position Management Periodic Processing Give Notice on Expired Insurance Policies .

The S election screen appears.
Enter your selection criteria.
Choose Program Execute .

The system creates a list of all insurance contracts for which notice has been given.
