Payoff: Key Data On the
Basic Data
tab, the system displays a summarized overview of the receivables list as well as general contract data.
For more information, see Payoff .
In the Basic Data section, the system displays the contract data such as the
Fixed to
date, the remaining capital at the end of the fixed condition period (Rem. Cap. Fixed to) and the Available Capital. This is displayed for your information only; you cannot change the data here.
You enter the due date for the payoff in the
Due on
field. This date affects the remaining capital and the interest calculation capital. Both these amounts are reduced by the payoff amount on the payoff due date.
If you make a partial payoff for an annuity or installment loan, you can change the conditions using the
Repayment change
indicator: For more information, see
Detailed Data
.
The
Receivables List
section provides a summarized overview of the receivable items. In the case of a
full payoff
using the net payoff procedure, the system calculates the gross payoff amount in contract currency by totaling the net payoff amount, proportionate and regular payments, additional flows, overdue items, deferred payments, credit balances and the amounts in fields 1 to 3. The gross payoff amount is the amount the borrower still has to pay in order to meet the receivables in full.
In the case of a partial payoff , you must enter the required net payoff amount.
Note
The
Gross Procedure
is not supported at present.
You can include the following existing loan receivables in the receivables list:
Existing
Overdue Items
, that is, the total of the overdue items on the
Open Items
tab that are selected for the receivables list.
Existing
Credit Balances
, that is, the total of the credit balances on the
Open Items
tab that are selected for the receivables list.
Regular Payments:
Total of the flows that exist independently of the payoff with the same payment date as the payoff payment date.
You cannot change the receivable items in the receivables list itself.
Note
In the IMG activity
Define Template
, you can select the items to be included in the receivables list. You can change these default settings in the application.
You can also include other amounts in the receivables list, such as an early repayment penalty, a discount reimbursement or interest on arrears. In fields 1 and 2 you can enter amounts to be posted with the payoff, such as an early repayment penalty or a discount reimbursement. The system then creates accounting documents for these flows. Only enter positive amounts in these fields. You control the +/- sign determination in the Customizing settings for the flow type.
In fields 3 and 4 you can enter the accrued interest on arrears up to the payoff due date and the daily interest incurred from the payoff due date onwards. The amounts you enter in fields 3 and 4 are treated as pure amount fields. The amounts are not posted as accrued interest on arrears or daily interest incurred as part of the payoff.
Note
In the IMG activity
Define General Control Data
you can activate fields 1-4, which will then be ready for input, or hide the fields. For fields 1 and 2 you have the option of determining an early repayment penalty or a discount reimbursement using the BAdI
Flow Data and Amounts
. You can also use this BAdI to calculate the accrued interest on arrears and daily interest for fields 3 and 4. If you want to have the amounts calculated via this BAdI, you must deactivate the corresponding fields. The calculated amounts are then included in the receivables list automatically.
You need to define the relevant flow types with the application function 403 or 404 for fields 1 and 2 in the Customizing activity
Proportional Payments
: Total of the flows resulting from the payoff, any flows shifted to the payoff payment date, and existing payments with the same payment date as the payoff payment date in the payoff currency.
Other Flows
: Total of the flows entered for the receivables list on the
Other Flows
tab.
Deferred Payments
: Total of the condition-based payments shifted to the payoff payment date by the deferral function in payoff currency.
Payments Outstanding: Balance of the payments still outstanding on the payment date of the payoff.
