You cancel a booking if a participant cannot attend the course.

Cancel Participation inTime-Dependent Course
You can cancel any type of booking for a participant.
If you specify a cancellation reason, it may be used to calculate a cancellation fee. The same billing and activity allocation options are available as for participation fees (such as payment by credit card).
You can partially or completely cancel group participants.
If there are bookings on the waiting list of the course and optimum capacity has not yet been reached, the waiting list candidates can be moved up from the list until the optimum capacity has been reached.You specify the move-up procedure in Customizing for

is active, the relevant participation records are deleted in

Cancel Participation in a Curriculum
To cancel participation in a curriculum with the infotype
Curriculum Type Info
(infotype 5004), proceed as follows:
Individual elements
The
Individual Elements
indicator lets you cancel individual bookings.The SAP System deletes the relationship with the curriculum and cancels the booking.You can handle the remaining bookings as individual bookings.
Partial curriculum
The
Partial Curriculum
indicator lets you cancel participation bookings starting from a selected booking.All bookings that occur after the selected one are canceled too.Bookings that occur before the selected one are retained.
Curriculum as a whole
The
Curriculum as a whole
indicator lets you cancel the whole curriculum including all its elements.When you cancel a curriculum, you cancel all its elements and all bookings made for it.
You cannot cancel participation in a curriculum element on the detail screen of a course.
Cancellation Fee for Curriculum
A curriculum itself does not have a price, rather the price of a curriculum is calculated from the total price of individual courses you have booked. Therefore, there is no cancellation fee specifically for the curriculum.The cancellation reason you specify applies to each of the individual courses you want to cancel.Cancellation fees are calculated from the sum of individual cancellations.
