Uploading Test Cases from Files

You can upload test cases that you have prepared as Excel or CSV (UTF-8 encoding only) file to the Test Steps Designer app. The Test Steps Designer converts them to a Test Step test case, which, for example, can be executed with My Test Executions.

To upload a test case, on the start page of the Test Steps Designer, simply choose  (Upload New Test Case from File) and follow the steps in the wizard.

With the upload function, you can also create new versions of existing test cases that have been created with the upload function: If you update the test case in the CSV or Excel file and then upload this file with the same test case title as the existing test case, Test Step Designer creates a new version of the test case.
