Process

This event occurs when getting the higher-level entries for hierarchical view cluster operations (for example, retrieve deleted entries)

At this event, you can specify selection conditions for subset fields in higher-level objects, which cannot be derived from view cluster field dependency definitions in the subsequent objects, as follows:

Enter an object with an empty object field in the Subset field field dependency.
Pass the subset field value in the global variable VCL_REDUCTION_AREA. This value affects the calculation of the higher-level entries.

Note

VCL_REDUCTION_AREA is an unstructured work area. You must put the value in the correct position. You can use the structure of the view/table.
The global variable VCL_OBJECT_AREA contains the entry in the dependent object for which the higher-level entry is determined.

Note

If no event is specified at event 12 for a view cluster object which contains such a subset field, all higher-level entries are taken into account, regardless of the value of the subset field.
