Defining Validity Periods of Customizing Tables

Procedure

The Human Resources component (HR) contains time-dependent tables. The validity period is in the key of time-dependent tables. An example of a time-dependent table is the table with contributions for pension insurance. The records change with time and are therefore only valid up to a certain date.

To maintain values for any validity period, choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Limit Validity End of the navigation path .

In the view or in view cluster, only the last validity period is displayed with its value.

Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Expand/Collapse to End of the navigation path :

Display the previous ranges for the validity period, with values ( Expand)
"Hide" the displayed previous ranges and values for the validity period again, so that only the last valid duration is displayed ( Collapse).
