Analyzing Change Logs

Use

You specify the customizing object or table, and the period for which you want to see change to it.

Features

You can make the following entries:

• Customizing Object/Table input field: Specify the name of the customizing object or table. This option is only visible when you go to the analysis from the customizing menu.

• Time Restriction group box: Specify the date and time of the beginning and end of the period for which you want to see the changes made.

• Analysis of: Specify whether you want to see changes made to a customizing object or a table. This option is only visible when you go to the analysis from the customizing menu.

• Output option Only Actual Changes: Select this option to prevent the output of unchanged log entries.

• Output option Append Table Changes: Select the field to also list all changes which are made outside the specified customizing object, in tables which are also used elsewhere.

• Archived Logs checkbox: Select the field if the analysis period contains archived logs which are to be included in the analysis.

Other functions:

• Function Logging: Display Status: Tells you the clients in which logging is active, and whether the tables in the objects are logged.

• Function Execute : Run the analysis. You can perform the analysis in the background or print the result directly, in the Program menu.
