Use
The technical data of the view cluster is included in the header entry. You can define the following:
-
The behavior of the view cluster for data maintenance operations that influence superordinate and subordinate tables/views.
-
Type of data import
You can also write a short description.
Features
Hierarchical maintenance operation handling:
-
Use in hierarchy (Popup): A dialog box informs you that your object changes affect superior or dependent objects. You can either make the same changes to the superior objects, ignore the prompt, or cancel the maintenance dialog.
-
Use in hierarchy (mandatory): If changes must be made to superior or dependent objects due to changes to an object, the system automatically makes them.
-
Limit to one step: The system executes any operation for the current object only and ignores any dependencies.
Read Type:
-
All: All view cluster object data is transferred to the application server.
-
Subtree: The system transfers only the start object and its dependent objects. It transfers data of other objects only as required.
