Toolbar
The toolbar is available in both ActiveX versions of the geomap and 3D map. The toolbar in the 3D map has a reduced set of features. In the SAP UI5 version, there is no toolbar; hot keys are available instead.
Geomap (ActiveX)
The toolbar can be visible or invisible. You can relocate the toolbar or collapse it. If you have collapsed it, you can open it again and it will return to its previous position. Toolbar actions can also be performed by using keyboard hot keys.

| Navigation History |
Navigation steps (move, zoom, rotation, and tilting) are logged and can be retrieved for up to 10 steps. There is at least a gap of 1 second between the recordings of steps to avoid minor steps being recorded. You can run backwards and forwards through the navigation steps you have performed using the relevant icons or hot keys. |

The following selection modes are available:

R (Rectangular selection) To leave the selection mode and return to the single selection mode, press the R key again. A (Lasso selection) To leave the selection mode and return to the single selection mode, press the A key again. |
| Rectangular Zoom |
The cursor changes and you can draw a rectangle. When you release the mouse button, the application zooms into the specified rectangle. |

Z (Rectangular Zoom) To leave the rectangular zoom mode, press the Z key again. |

Navigation History
Navigation steps (move, zoom, rotation, and tilting) are logged and can be retrieved for up to 10 steps. There is at least a gap of 1 second between the recordings of steps to avoid that minor steps are being recorded.
To go backwards in the history, use the
button for backward navigation in the toolbar or press the S key. The button is only active if there is a step that can be retrieved. Once you have gone backwards in the navigation history, the button for forward navigation is active. To navigate forward, use the
button for forward navigation or press the D key.
